“For His Glory. For Our City. For The North.”
Livingroom is a worship community and expression centered on cultivating a people who live from the presence of God.
“Raise a sound of worship in the North, for My glory, for the city and for the world.”
There was a growing cry in our hearts for the North. During a season of prayer, we sensed the Lord stirring something deeper—a call to raise a sound of worship that would carry His glory into the city, across the North, and eventually to the world. That burden became part of the journey that led to Bridge Church in Kaduna. But the sound was never meant to remain within the walls of a church.
During the COVID-19 season, we were already in a deep season of prayer, gathering as often as four times a week. In those gatherings, we sensed a growing invitation from the Lord to minister to Him for 90 days—to seek His face, to worship Him, and to make room for Him to pour out His glory and reveal His beauty among us.
For 90 days, we gathered, we prayed, and we ministered to the Lord. Songs were birthed out of that experience, and the days became a powerful reminder of the beauty and power of creating a space where people can simply come before Jesus. What started in a living room became a gathering of worshippers, musicians, songwriters, intercessors, and creatives from different churches and backgrounds who share a hunger for God’s presence.
